Marketing & Social Media Intern
Virtual/Remote Position
We're seeking a college student (or recent graduate) with a proven passion and creative edge when it comes to developing marketing and social media campaigns. Our intern will work with leaders who are writers, designers, producers and marketers, and will be invited to exercise the skills learned in their studies to contribute to the team on social media and marketing campaigns.
What You’ll Do
Our intern will work with the team to manage our social media production plan. You'll meet regularly with the creative team to gather input on the latest creative publications released and other projects being developed.
This position requires you to strategize, brainstorm and write social media posts; planning in advance to think through the messaging, visuals, and any graphic or video content that can support and accompany the posts.
Our internship provides hands-on experience as an active contributor on the production team. You'll use your knowledge as a strategist on the team and be working with veterans in the production and entertainment industry (including songwriter, author, illustrator, graphic designer, producer).
Who You Are

Student or recent graduate: education and experience in social media, creative writing, marketing. (Marketing, Business or English major preferred)

Excellent writing skills for a variety of audience demographics; at ease with play, fun, and inspiration.

Passion for the field of literary publication and media production (children’s books, animation, entertainment) – may be helpful, but isn’t required experience.

Knowledgeable on social media best practices.

Ability to “network” with potential followers, influencers, etc. on behalf of our brand.

Able to provide own laptop with knowledge of Powerpoint and/or Keynote.
